The Butler Armco Employee Association (BAEA) held its annual Christmas party Dec. 19 and 20 at Clearview Cinemas. In attendance were employees, retirees, and their children and grandchildren.The families had their choice of four movies and refreshments. More than 875 people attended on both days.———A South Butler Primary School class helped out some needy animals this holiday season.Karrie Hickey's kindergarten class this year collected items for the Butler County Humane Society in place of doing a student gift exchange.Students gathered items, which were delivered Monday. The items collected included 92 cans of cat food, 52 cans of dog food, four bags of dry cat food, two bags of dry kitten food, three bags of dry dog food, four jars of peanut butter, and 23 leashes.
