SPECIAL NEW YEAR'S DELIVERY
Pamela Sue Edwards, with a birthday of Jan. 1, 1965, was the first Butler County baby born that year. By Dec. 28, 1965, when this photo was taken, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Edwards of Sarver could walk to any of her five siblings, according to her mother, and loved her favorite toy: a bright green, stuffed dog. A successor to 2009's first baby, Campbell Jo Clouse of Donegal Township, will be named soon.
