Westinghouse Electric’s headquarters in the Cranberry Woods office park opened in 2009. The company moved from Monroeville and brought 4,000 jobs. While the Westinghouse move was the biggest economic boost in Butler County, there was some other positive economic news. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management said it will build an office in Slippery Rock and bring 100 jobs. Other projects include the Pullman Square Business Park infrastructure construction and the announcement that BeamOne will build a $9 million facility at the Victory Road Business Park.
