Michael Macurak and Shannon Cooper

An Oct. 2 wedding is being planned by Shannon Cooper of Cherry Valley and Michael Macurak of Karns City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Patricia (Montgomery) Cooper of Cherry Valley and Greg Cooper of Concord Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Joseph and Karen Macurak of Karns City.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 2008 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is employed by Kids Count Family Psychological Services in Butler.

Her fiance graduated in 1997 from Karns City High School. He is employed by Cardello Electric Supply and Lighting in Cranberry Township.
