Federkeil

Eugene James Federkeil, 79, of Strongsville, Ohio, formerly of West Deer Township, died Saturday at the Southwest General Health Center, Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

Born May 22, 1930, in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, he was the son of Roy Federkeil and Aimee Fleck Federkeil.

He was a mechanic in the U.S. Air Force during Korea and was a staff sergeant.

He was a mechanic for Eastern Airlines, retiring in 1986 after 32 years.

Surviving are his wife, Emilie (Klein) Federkeil, who he married Dec. 29, 1961; two brothers, Richard Federkeil of Prospect and John Federkeil of West Mifflin; and two sisters, Marian Duderstadt of Austin, Texas, and Mary Grau of Glenshaw.

<B>FEDERKEIL</B> — Friends of Eugene James Federkeil, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
