Virginia R. (Lightner) Fleishner, 74, of Clinton Township, formerly of Hampton Township, died Saturday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born July 9, 1935, in Hampton Township, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Alice (Hart) Lightner.

She was a devoted wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she enjoyed family activities.

Virginia was a member of the Summit Presbyterian Church and served for many years as its financial secretary. Mrs. Fleishner retired from the Busy Beaver Building Centers in 2001. She worked there for 33 years, serving as the vice president of operations and director of personnel and training.

She is survived by her husband, John L. Fleishner; a son, John "Jack" F. (JeNeen) Fleishner of Freeport; three daughters, Carrie Peele of Raleigh, N.C., Christine (Kevin) Corace of Butler, and Virginia "Gin" (Craig) Waltenbaugh of Templeton; a sister, Dorie Ferguson of Va.; a brother, Robert Lightner of Fla.; a sister, Peggy Reeder of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

<B>FLEISHNER</B> — Visitation for Virginia R. (Lightner) Fleishner, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, Butler. The Rev. Jonathon Evans will officiate. Everyone is asked to meet at the church on Tuesday.
