Dianne R. Keefer

Dianne R. (Warheit) Keefer, 49, of Butler died at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at her home.

Born June 7, 1960, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Richard C. Warheit and Hazel Geist Warheit.

Ms. Keefer was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.

She was an assistant manager at Vitamin World in Butler and also was a sales associate for Boscov's department store. Her previous employment was at the YMCA.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She had her own baking business, "Princess Pastries," for a short time. She loved spending time with her children and "adopted" grandchildren.

Ms. Keefer is survived by her daughter, Dhyana Keefer and her son, David J. Keefer, both of Butler; her mother, Mrs. Hazel Warheit of Butler; her "adopted" grandchildren, Macey and Cohen Thompson; two brothers, Rich and his wife, Sue Warheit of Butler, and Eric and his wife, Chrissy Warheit of Butler; a sister, Suzanne and her husband, William Hulton of Butler; a niece, Elizabeth Warheit, and a nephew, Brian Warheit, both of Butler; four stepnieces, Jenn Knepp of Cranberry Township, Jessie Ernst of Callery, Becky McDonald of Butler and Jeannie Tiedt of Butler; and by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

<B>KEEFER</B> — Friends of Dianne R. (Warheit) Keefer, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James W. Dollhopf of First English Lutheran Church officiating.
