Raymond Fowler Sr.
Raymond C. Fowler Sr., 69, of Baden, formerly of Butler, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday evening with his family by his side.
Born Nov. 30, 1939, in Butler, he was a son of the late George W. Fowler and Eva B. (Wise) Bowser.
He had worked as a truck driver for Midnight Express in Cranberry Township for 12 years until his retirement in July 2009.
He was a member of the Victory Family Church in Cranberry Township, and he was a veteran of the Army.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen E. (Ptak) Fowler, who he married Aug. 16, 1986; six children, Raymond C. Fowler Jr. of Butler, Raylene M. Furka and her husband, Rob, of Butler, Robert W. Fowler of Butler, Keith J. Fowler and his wife, Danielle, of Forestville, Jordan L. Fowler of Baden and Amanda K. Fowler of Baden; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Velma Mansfield of Butler and Betty Bowser and her husband, Calvin, of Portersville.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George C. Fowler.
<B>Fowler</B> — Friends of Raymond C. Fowler Sr., who died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The. Rev. John Nuzzo, senior pastor of Victory Family Church, will officiate.
