Rose Quinn Lucas, 84, a resident of Harborcreek, Erie County, passed away Nov. 6.

She was born in Liverpool England, June 12, 1925, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Cruikshank Quinn.

She lived in Erie all her married life. Her priority was taking care of her family. She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, giving many years toward volunteer work.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Lucas.

She is dearly loved by her seven children: three daughters, Rosemary Brojek and her husband, James, of Harborcreek, Patricia Hamerski and her husband, John, of Florida and Jacqueline Lucas of Erie; and four sons, Michael Lucas of Florida, James Lucas and his wife, Catherine, of Mars, Joseph Lucas of Conneautville, and Mark Lucas and his wife, Julie, of Suffolk, Va. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was truly a kind and gentle soul who will be remembered with great admiration. In her memory, please say a kind word to someone.
