Tony Martin, 83, of Harmony died Monday in West Kittanning.

Born Sept. 4, 1926, in Beaver County, he was the son of the late Peter and Rose Snyder Martin.

Mr. Martin retired in 1989 from the F.B. Leopold Co., where he had worked in the maintenance department. He also raised pigs for many years and enjoyed farming.

He was a member of the Big Knob Antique Tractor Association and enjoyed restoring antique tractors.

He is survived by seven children, Cheryl (Larry) Peffer of Espyville, Reneta (Jeffrey) Hart of Ellwood City, Daniel (Carol) Martin of Prospect, Albert (Pam) Martin of Harmony, Ronald (Karen) Martin of Harmony, Jeffrey (Christa) Martin of Harmony and Roy (Jody) Newton of Portersville; two sisters, Mary Jane Dusold of Conway and Gladys Shingler of Jamestown; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and longtime friend, Patricia Trumbull of West Kittanning.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Erma Martin, on May 1, 1998; a brother; and a sister.

<B>MARTIN</B> — Friends of Tony Martin, who died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Fogal officiating.
