Genevieve M. Renforth Hrynyshyn, 72, formerly of Lyndora, passed away peacefully Saturday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 27, 1937, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Gussie Raimondi Renforth.

Genevieve was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She also worked in day care and was a chef at her home.

She was happiest when baking cookies in her kitchen for fun, weddings and other occasions.

She was loved by all who knew her.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora and was a member of the St. Michael's Ladies Guild.

Her husband, William J. Hrynyshyn, who she married June 15, 1963, survives her. Also surviving are her son and his wife, William E. and Dawn Hrynyshyn of San Antonio, Texas; and three grandchildren, Lauren, Alec and Holly Hrynyshyn, all of San Antonio. In addition to her identical twin, Margaret Renforth, she also is survived by her brother, Thomas (Lorna) Renforth and her sister, Donna (Robert) Vandevort. One aunt, one uncle, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

<B>HRYNYSHYN </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Genevieve M. Renforth Hrynyshyn, who died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora with Father Douglas Lorance, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.Parastas services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
