Bobby D. Armstrong
Bobby D. Armstrong, 69, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Mars, died Friday in Excella Health, Westmoreland Hospital.
He was born June 7, 1940, in Sledge, Miss., a son of the late Edgar and Ruby West Armstrong.
He was a retired employee of United Parcel Service, New Stanton, with 31 years of service and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin.
Surviving are his wife, Carol A. (Wiles) Armstrong; children, Jill (Bill) Selepchak of Hunker, Pa., Tim (Lori) Armstrong of Youngwood, Pa., and Jodi (Jason) Thornton of Hunker, Pa.; eight grandchildren; siblings, Kent Armstrong of McDonald, Tenn., E. W. "Dub" Armstrong of St. Cloud, Fla., Jim Armstrong of Anaheim, Calif., and Helen Rataiczak of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
<B>Armstrong</B> — Friends of Bobby D. Armstrong, who died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>William Snyder Funeral Home</B>, 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dr. Ronald H. Wakeman, officiating.
