Suzanne K. Trotta
Suzanne K. Trotta, 66, of Campbell Avenue died Monday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
She was born Sept. 13, 1943, in Butler, a daughter of Frank and Ann Skunda Kononchuk.
Suzanne was a licensed practical nurse and retired in 2005 as a unit secretary at Butler Memorial Hospital after 25 years.
She was a lifelong member of St. John Roman Catholic church in Lyndora and now was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic church in Meridian.
Suzanne loved the outdoors and took pleasure in fishing and gardening. She also greatly enjoyed being with her friends and family.
Surviving are her parents, Frank and Ann Kononchuk of Butler; one daughter and her husband, Debra and Allen Bare of Aiken, S.C.; two sons and their wives, James and Justine Trotta of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Scott and Christie Trotta of Fredericksburg, Va.; and one brother, Frank S. Kononchuk and his wife, Charmiann Kononchuk, of Rochester. Three grandsons and four granddaughters also survive her.
<B>TROTTA </B>— Friends of Suzanne K. Trotta, who died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic church in Meridian.
