The Performing Arts Series at BC3 continues with the Pittsburgh Philharmonic in a holiday concert at 8 p.m. Dec. 11 in the college's Succop Theater.

The University of Pittsburgh will host the annual Nationality Rooms Holiday Open House, featuring performances by area folk singers and dancers, from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Cathedral of Learning Commons Room, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland.Admission is free. Ethnic foods and crafts will be available.Holiday tours of the Nationality Rooms will continue through Jan. 15 (except none on Dec. 24, 25 or 26 or Jan. 1). Self tours are available without reservations from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sundays.From Dec. 27 to 31, the rooms will be open for guided tours beginning at 10 a.m. and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The last tour begins at 2:30 p.m.
CMU's College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present its annual holiday concert at noon Friday in the Rangos Ballroom in the University Center.Professor of music Robert Page will conduct the combined forces of the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic, Concert Choir and Repertory Chorus.Admission is free.
