Jane A. Mahan, 93, of Cabot died peacefully Monday at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, with her family by her side.

Born Oct. 6, 1916, in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of Dale Bryson and Edna (Snyder) Bryson.

She was a homemaker.

She was a charter member of Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church in America. She was a Sunday school teacher and involved in many church activities.

She enjoyed quilting, traveling, bowling and reading.

Surviving are her daughter- in-law, Sandra (Getty) Mahan of Saxonburg; her brother, Richard Bryson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her sister, Lillian Bryson Girdwood of Cabot; her grandchildren, James (Melissa) Mahan of Saxonburg, William (Stephanie) Mahan of Saxonburg, Lisa Mahan of Anchorage, Alaska, and Susan (Glenn) Wendtland of Antioch, Ill.; and nine great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jamie Mahan, Christopher Mahan, Sandra, Sarah and Robert Wendtland and Megan, Olivia and Abbey Mahan.

Preceding her in death were her husband, J. Leroy Mahan, who died Nov. 3, 2001; a son, Dale E. Mahan; and a sister, Marjorie Parke.

<B>MAHAN </B>— Friends of Jane A. Mahan, who died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nick Protos officiating.
