Geraldine Ruth Oxley
Geraldine Ruth Specht Oxley, 79, of Renfrew passed away Tuesday at her residence.
She was born Jan. 15, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Theodore Specht and Martha Drummond Specht.
Geraldine was Protestant by faith.
Mrs. Oxley was a horseback ridding instructor.
She participated in the Musical Theatre Guild and the Butler Little Theatre.
Geraldine was an avid horsewoman and received awards in horsemanship. She enjoyed ceramics and ice-skating and received awards in these activities as well.
Mrs. Oxley was known as a national fly casting champion.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Robin) Kriley of Renfrew; and two grandchildren, Ms. Martha Kriley of Renfrew and Andrew Kriley of Renfrew.
Mrs. Oxley was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Oxley, who passed away Oct. 8, 2001; and her brother.

Volz Funeral Home, Inc.</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Park officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations to the V.N.A.
