Anne Josephine Peterson, 88, formerly of Butler, passed away Oct. 10 at Magnolia Place in Greenville, S.C.

Born Jan. 22, 1921, she was the daughter of George Peterson and Delia Josephine Caza Peterson of Albany, N.Y.

Born and raised in Albany, Anne worked in food service most of her life. She moved to Butler in 1984 and was employed by the Book Nook for many years.

She was a member of the North Main Street Church of God.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Anne Bond of Laughlin, Nev.; and her granddaughter, Dana Anne Erickson of Greenville, S.C., also formerly of Butler.

<B>PETERSON </B>— A memorial service for Anne Josephine Peterson, who died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at Grace Church in Greenville, S.C.
