William A. Boyce, 84, a resident of the St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, formerly of Alliance, Ohio, died Monday evening at UPMC Passavant hospital in Cranberry Township.

He was born in Alliance, Ohio, Nov. 8, 1924.

Mr. Boyce was a self-employed accountant and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharyn Lipnicky and her husband, Chris, of Seven Fields; two sons, Kenneth Boyce and his wife, Mary, of the Poconos, and Glenn Boyce of Alliance, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Erin and Christopher Lipnicky and Kevin Boyce.

Boyce, who died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, are invited to a blessing service at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at the St. John Specialty Care Center, 500 Wittenberg Way, Mars.
