Pamela Kay Gobbel

Pamela Kay Gobbel, 57, of Laurel, Md., formerly of Butler, died Saturday at UPMC Passavant hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Sept. 8, 1952, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Ward E. and Eleanor Jackson Michael.

A cafeteria worker for the Prince George County School District in Laurel, Md., she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Laurel, a participant in mission trips, and helped with Bible study in the women's prison for prison ministry outreach with the Mount Hope Ministries. She previously ran a day care out of her home.

Surviving are her husband, Timothy W. Gobbel; sons, Matthew of Florida, Jason of Pittsburgh and Nathan, Joshua, Guy and Aaron and a daughter, Rebekah Gobbel, all of Laurel. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, four sisters, nieces and nephews.

<B>GOBBEL</B> — Friends of Pamela Kay Gobbel, who died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home</B>, 2703 O'Neil Boulevard, McKeesport.
