Garnet M. (Anderson) Evers, 93, of Bakerstown died Monday in UPMC Passavant hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh, March 24, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mae (Jones) Anderson.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Evers Sr. She also was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Anderson; her sister, Grace Brennan; and her half-sister, Helen Smith.

She was the loving mother of Edward (Jacqueline) Evers Jr. of McCandless and William D. (the late Edna C.) Evers of Richland Township; dear aunt of Leroy Brennan, Garnet Mae Hare, Beverly Brennan, Denny Brennan and the late Bobby Brennan; half-sister of Mary Lou Campbell and Robert Campbell. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

<B>EVERS</B> — The Evers family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial for Garnet M. (Anderson) Evers, who died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Sepulcher Church, Glade Mills, with Father Albert Semler as celebrant.
