Bernath

Tillie A. Bernath, 91, of Cranberry Township died Wednesday at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Grove City.

Born Feb. 14, 1918, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Urban.

Mrs. Bernath was a member of the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers in Glassport and the Cranberry Senior Center.

She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing and loved baking cookies.

She is survived by her daughter, Marian Smith of Grove City; her son, Charles Bernath and his wife, Teresa, of Cranberry Township; and a granddaughter, Laura B. Griewahn and her husband, Robert, of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius A. Bernath; her son-in-law, James F. Smith; four brothers; and three sisters.

Bernath, who died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
