Irma M. Keel, 102, formerly of Penn-Mar Plaza in Mars, Conneaut Lake and Braddock, died Wednesday evening at the LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Rankin, Dec. 30, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Martha Froelich Guttridge.

A homemaker, Mrs. Keel was a member of the First Christian Church of Meadville, the Braddock Eastern Star and the Rebecca Lodge of the Odd Fellows in Braddock. She also was a member of the Swissvale AARP.

Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Sarver and her husband, David, of Richland Township; and a son, Robert Keel in Florida. Also 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Keel, who died April 27, 1982; a daughter, Marjorie Casey; two brothers; and three sisters.

<B>KEEL </B>— Friends of Irma M. Keel, who died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Dambaugh officiating.
