Lee I. Tripp
Lee I. Tripp, 81, of Portersville passed away Tuesday at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born Nov. 19, 1927, in Skinners Eddy, Wyoming County, the son of the late Harry Tripp and Affie (Evans) Tripp.
Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns and traveling.
He was a member of the VFW Post 449 in Evans City and the American Legion and the Hungarian Club, both in Zelienople.
Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Trip-Harvey and her husband, Leslie, of Butler, Joann Tripp of Berwick and Helen Tripp of Grove City; a son, Randy Tripp of Berwick; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna May Brandon of Sweet Valley, Luzerne County, and Barbara Shiers of Benton; and a brother, Earl Tripp of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
