John K. Smith
John K. Smith, 48, of Butler died Sunday at his home.
Born June 24, 1961, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Francis Smith and Shirley David Smith.
Mr. Smith was a generator technician for Alternative Power Source of Gibsonia.
He attended Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mr. Smith enjoyed go-cart racing, and he had a kind heart and would help anyone.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Janet Linden Smith; one son, Benjamin Smith of Butler; one daughter, Natalie Smith of Butler; three sisters, Luanne and her husband, Bob Murphy, of Maryland, Debra and her husband, Mark Wagner, of Coraopolis and Mary Margaret "Peg" and her husband, John Harrington, of West Virginia; and three brothers, William and his wife, Meg Smith, of Aliquippa, Jim and his wife, Sandy Smith, of Ohio, and Tom and his wife, Tracey Smith, of Georgia. Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Irene Linden of Economy; five nieces; and two nephews.
<B>SMITH</B> — Friends of John K. Smith, who died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E.
