Harry F. Brumbaugh
Harry F. Brumbaugh, 78, of Adrian died Saturday at his home.
He was born June 22, 1931, in Kittanning to Lorenzo Franklin and Frances Floretta (Grey) Brumbaugh.
Mr. Brumbaugh was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where he sang in the choir and was past vice president of church council.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He had been a supervisor at Freeport Brick, Kittanning Division.
Mr. Brumbaugh was a member of the Kittanning-East Brady Masonic Lodge 244, where he served as master in 1978, 1993 and 1995. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Coudersport Consistory, where he served as past president of the Coudersport Consistory Club. He also was a member of the Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter 247, where he served as past high priest. He was the principal instructor for the 27th Masonic District School of Instruction for 10 years and the dad adviser for the Order of DeMolay. He received the Meritorious Service Award from the Pennsylvania Council of Deliberation and was the most wise master of Chapter of Rose Croix. He was a past patron of Amaranth and a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Baker Trail Forest 180.
He was a scout master for Boy Scout Troop 672.
He is survived by his wife, Theora (Craig) Brumbaugh, who he married Oct. 24, 1952; one son, John Brumbaugh and his wife, Barbara Lee, of Aiken, S.C.; one daughter, Lisa Tinley and her husband, David, of North Huntingdon; two brothers; five sisters; eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Daniel James Brumbaugh; and a sister, Beulah Bleggi.
