Amanda and Matthew Loomis

Amanda Lorenz of Butler and Matthew Loomis of West Sunbury were united in marriage May 23 at Christ Community Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. Howard Burrell officiated. A reception followed at Happy Hunters Sportsmens Club.

The bride is the daughter of James and Christine Lorenz of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Kevin and Cherie Loomis of West Sunbury.

The honor attendant was Karrie Geibel of Butler. Bridesmaids were Nikki Lorenz, Kait Maticic, Tasha Cumba and Courtney Link, all of Butler. The flower girl was Anah Alston of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Scott Loomis of West Sunbury. Ushers were Josh Loomis of West Sunbury, Adam Lorenz of Butler, Jarod Hesidence of Butler and Chad Lorenz of Butler.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Butler High School. She is employed by Butler Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom graduated in 2007 from Butler High School. He is employed by Wal-Mart in Butler.

The couple is making their home in Butler.
