WARREN — Jamarr Patterson and Marty Phipps each rushed for more than 100 yards and scored touchdowns as the Grove City High football team defeated Warren 21-3 Friday night.

The victory gave the Eagles (6-3, 4-0) the region outright for the second straight season.

Patterson had 16 carries for 169 yards, including a 53-yard scoring run. Phipps had nine carries for 101 yards and scored two touchdowns.

Quarterback Matt Stapleford threw for 136 yards for Warren (3-6, 1-3).
