Alexander Connor and Jennifer Corkadel

A July 16 wedding is being planned by Jennifer Corkadel and Alexander Connor, both of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robin and Sandra Hempfling of Slippery Rock and Michael Corkadel of Phoenix. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jeffery Connor and Jenny Byers, both of Athens, Ohio.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Peoria High School. She will graduate in 2010 from Chatham University. She is employed as a server at the Frick Art and Historical Center cafe in Pittsburgh.

Her fiance graduated in 2004 from Athens High School and in 2008 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently a graduate student at the university and is employed as a database administrator in the computer science department.
