Karen S. Hassa
Karen S. Hassa, 61, of 809 Fifth Ave., Ford City, died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born April 16, 1948, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles Brady and Betty Sadoris Brady.
She was a past worthy adviser of the Meridian Rainbow Assembly and was a marching mother with the Ford City Junior Drill Team for three years.
She loved camping and her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, David Hassa Sr., whom she married June 1, 1968; a son, David and Dana Hassa Jr. of Ford City; a daughter, Jennifer Hassa and her fiance, Ryan Cosgrove of Ford City; three grandchildren, Zane Hassa, Charlie Hassa and Bryanna Hassa; a brother, Robert and Sue Brady of Butler; and a sister, Linda Brady of Butler.
An infant brother preceded her in death.
<B>HASSA —</B> Visitation for Karen S. Hassa, who died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Mantini Funeral Home</B>, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Spiker officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
