Stroop

Nancy C. Stroop, 76, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Aug. 27 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Stroop was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of Lemoyne and Alice Cook, and moved to Butler, where she graduated from Butler High School in 1951.

Survivors include her sons, David Stroop (Teresa) of Indianapolis, Ind., Dean Stroop (Alison) of Montoursville, Pa., and Daryl Stroop of Fishers, Ind.; a daughter, Debbie Pollins of Cape Coral, Fla.; a brother, David Cook (Michele) of Butler; a sister, Sue Betres of Butler; brother, John Cook (Anita) of Santa Rosa, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and caregiver, Pat Anwyl of Vero Beach.

She was predeceased in death by her husband, Walter "Bud" Stroop.
