Salama Adham, 75, of Butler died Friday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Mr. Adham was born Jan. 1, 1934, in Mosul, Iraq.

Mr. Adham retired following many years of ownership of numerous Shop 'N Save and County Market grocery stores in the area.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Suzanne (Arnold) Adham; a son, Eric Adham of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Melissa Smock of Meadville and Hope Wintermantle of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Faith Adham, in 1981.
