Brenda Lippold
Brenda Lippold, 61, of Penn Hills passed away at 10:20 a.m. Sunday in UPMC Shadyside.
Born in Butler, Nov. 29, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Howard Lippold and Martha Merkner Lippold.
Brenda was a former member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Brenda was disabled for a majority of her life and was an advocate for the handicapped.
For a period of time, she worked for the Three Rivers Center for Independent Living.
Brenda is survived by three brothers, Howard "Ted" Lippold of Grove City, Bill Lippold of St. Augustine, Fla., and Larry Lippold of Butler; and also by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Don Lippold.
<B>LIPPOLD </B>— There will be no public visitation or services. Private graveside services for Brenda Lippold, who died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, will be held with the Rev. Alden Towberman of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
