Kennedy

Ann F. Kennedy, 91, of Cabot died peacefully at her home Friday.

Born Aug. 18, 1918, in West Winfield, she was the daughter of Frank and Emily Shelatz Perine.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, baking and working outdoors.

She worked in the Baden shipyards during World War II helping to ready Navy ships for combat. After the war, she was employed for many years at the Butler County Mushroom Farm.

Ann was a devout Catholic and a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.

Surviving are her son, Ronald (Carol) Kennedy, her daughter, Shirley Keller and her sister, Sophie (Fred) Heim, all of Cabot; three grandsons, Matthew (Melissa) Kennedy and A.J. Kennedy of Cabot and Todd Kennedy of Jacksonville, Fla.; and also a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 60 years, Donald L. Kennedy, four brothers and a sister.

<B>KENNEDY</B> — Friends of Ann F. Kennedy, who died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville with the Rev. Ward Stakem officiating.
