Unbeaten KC boys win KSAC crown
Bryce Foreback finished second with a time of 18 minutes, 39 seconds to lead the Karns City boys cross country team to a 24-36 win over North Clarion Tuesday.
The win capped an undefeated season for the Gremlins (9-0, 7-0) and their first Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference title in four years.
Ethan McGarvey and Matt Slagle also finished in the top five for Karns City.
The Gremlins girls dropped a 22-33 decision to North Clarion. Lacee Scheerbaum finished second overall with a time of 23:06.

Freshman Brett Rinker of Slippery Rock shot a 71 and finished Tuesday's District 10 Golf Championship at Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex in a first-place tie with Austin Romeo of Erie McDowell and Greg Podufal of Erie Cathedral Prep.In the three-way, sudden death playoff, Podufal parred the first hole while Rinker and Romeo each carded a bogie. Rinker was awarded third place by virtue of a scorecard playoff.Rinker, Grove City's Ryan Prokay, whose 74 earned him fourth place, and the other top eight golfers from Tuesday's event qualified for the PIAA Western Final at Tom's Run Golf Course in Blairsville next Wednesday.
