Katie Forrest and Tyler Davis

Katie Forrest and Tyler Davis, both of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage May 16 at the East Main Presbyterian Church in Grove City. The Rev. William Ebel officiated. A reception followed at the North Hall at Slippery Rock University.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Forrest of Slippery Rock and Larry Forrest of Franklin. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Teddy Davis of Prospect.

The honor attendant was Kala Fryman of Baltimore. Bridesmaids included Emily Landon of Zelienople, Jeana Forrest of Mount Lebanon and Jennifer Landau of Pittsburgh.

Performing the duties of best man was Shane Killian of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Chad Metrick of Pittsburgh, Matthew Forrest of Mount Lebanon and Lucas Landau of Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is a full-time graduate student at Chatham University, where she is studying creative writing.

The bridegroom graduated in 2003 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2007 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a researcher and full-time graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is studying hydrology and water resource engineering.

Following a honeymoon trip to London, England, the couple is making their home in McCandless Township.
