Nikki Hladik scored two goals and added two assists to help the Butler girls soccer team defeat Blackhawk, 6-3 on Saturday.

Chelsey Rock and Tina Maticic both scored twice in the win, while Mackenzie Hohn had two assists and Maticic one.

Taylor Troyan managed seven saves for the Golden Tornado (6-7-1).

In-line Hockey

Matt Steighner and Michael Ocvirk both had hat tricks in Butler's 8-0 shutout of Ambridge on Sunday.

Jacob Hrip also scored two goals in the win, while Tommy Mitch earned the shutout in net.

Junior Varsity Football

Zach Rader ran for one touchdown and threw for another as Butler beat visiting Pine-Richland, 14-7 Saturday afternoon.

Trevor Wideman was on the receiving end of the scoring pass for Butler (5-1).
