Hilda Schultheis, 82, of Saxonburg passed away peacefully at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Jefferson Township. She formerly lived in Buffalo Township.

Hilda was born in the city of Jennersdorf, Austria, May 9, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Clara (Krenn) Boglitch.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, baking and spending time with her two granddaughters.

Hilda is survived by her son, Dr. Clyde J. (Michele) Schultheis of Buffalo Township; and her daughter, Shirley Schultheis-Penetrante of San Ramon, Calif. She also is survived by her two granddaughters, Stephanie and Laura Schultheis.

She is preceded by her husband, Clyde M. Schultheis, and her sister, Emma Wesoley.

<B>SCHULTHEIS</B> — Family and friends of Hilda Schultheis, who died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the <B>Redmond Funeral Home</B>, 524 High St. Freeport. The St. Joseph Bereavement Ministry will hold a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.A parting prayer service will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday in the funeral home and a Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
