Nikki Hladik scored three goals to help the Butler girls soccer team beat Knoch 7-1 Wednesday.

Chelsey Rock scored twice and Jessica Draegger and Kathryn Hitchan each scored once for Butler (5-7-1, 5-5-1).

Slippery Rock 2, Mercer 1 — Danielle Wissinger scored in double overtime to lift the Rockets (9-2-2) to victory.Kelsey Powell scored for Slippery Rock in regulation.

Mars 3, North Allegheny 0 — Crysta Ganter scored two goals and Lexie Mastro had the other for the Planets.

Karns City 9, Redbank Valley 0 — Millie McKain scored her third hat trick of the season for the Gremlins (8-4-1). Emily Potchak, Nicole Harmon, Erica Hillwig, Brooke Miller, Alyssa King and Kayla Craig also scored.

Grove City 8, Sharon 1 — Jeff Hershberger and Mark Jaskowak scored two goals each for the Eagles (10-1) Tuesday. Brian Murone added a goal and two assists, while Thomas Hummel and Bob McKnight had one goal each.Jeremy Ball and Michael Augspurger scored in Grove City's 2-0 JV win.

Slippery Rock High tied Butler for 12th place out of 35 teams with a score of 337 at the 29th annual Tam O'Shanter High School Golf Invitational Wednesday.Brian Giesler led the Rockets with a 78, while Brent Rinker had an 80, Alex Spam an 89 and Gus McDowell a 90.
