Hawkins, Crawford

Ashley and Jarrod Crawford

Ashley Hawkins of Slippery Rock and Jarrod Crawford of Washington, Pa., were united in marriage June 6 at the Harbison Chapel at Grove City College. The Rev. Thomas Meling officiated. A reception followed at the Slippery Rock Township Building.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Laurie Hawkins of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are George and Shelley Crawford of Washington, Pa.

The honor attendant was Candice Hawkins of Slippery Rock. Bridesmaids included Kelli Burlett of West Middlesex, Carrie Crawford of Washington, Amanda Hawkins of Slippery Rock and Rose Allen of Slippery Rock. The flower girl was Madison Lindey of Slippery Rock.

Performing the duties of best man was J.T. Stanley of Washington. Ushers included Aaron Henley of Leechburg, Mike Valerio of Prosperity, Brandon Ritchie of Prosperity and Bryan Ritchie of Prosperity. The ring bearer was Zac Dimit of Slippery Rock.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2009 graduate of Grove City College. She is employed by the May Institute in Revere, Mass.

The bridegroom graduated in 2005 from McGuffey High School and in 2009 from Grove City College. He is currently a student at Gordon Cromwell Theological Seminary in South Hampton, Mass.

Following a honeymoon trip to Smyrna Beach, Fla., the couple is making their home in South Hamilton, Mass.
