Florence Helen Burns

Florence Helen (Krizmanick) Burns, 81, of Zelienople passed away Thursday at her home.

Florence was born July 2, 1928, and was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Sernick) Krizmanick.

She was a nanny and a homemaker.

Florence was a volunteer at Passavant Retirement Community and an avid gardener.

Surviving are a son, Larry Burns of Connecticut; two brothers, John Krizmanick of Chicago and Edward Krizmanick of Bellevue; a sister, Mrs. Alice H. Schindledecker of Zelienople; a grandson, Dillon Burns of Connecticut; and nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Robert J. Burns, preceded her in death.

<B>BURNS</B> — The family and friends of Florence Helen (Krizmanick) Burns, who died on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Brewer officiating.
