Forcht

Kenneth A. Forcht, 79, of East Metzger Avenue died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in Allegheny General Hospital.

Born March 6, 1930, in Butler, he was the son of Howard Forcht and Mildred Neyman Forcht.

Mr. Forcht was a member of First English Lutheran Church.

He worked at Armco, now AK Steel, in the processing maintenance department, retiring in 1993 after 34 years.

Mr. Forcht was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.

Mr. Forcht is survived by his wife, Doris M. Ray Forcht, who he married Feb. 23, 1951; two sons, Brian Forcht and his wife, Karen, of Erie and Keith Forcht and his wife, Pam, of Gibsonia; five grandchildren, Alex and his wife, Jessy, and Jenny, Breann, Kalle and Cameron; one sister, Maxine Carroll of Maryland; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Forcht was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

<B>FORCHT</B> — Friends of Kenneth A. Forcht, who died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First English Lutheran Church with Pastor Jim Dollhop of First English Lutheran Church officiating.
