WEEPING WAITRESSES
Back in 1966, the Pirates were actually involved in a pennant race, finally falling short in the season's final days and finishing third, three games behind Sandy Koufax and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Buried with the pennant race was this Bob Prince specialty, the Green Weenie, which was supposed to put a hex on the Bucs' opposition. Weeping over the demise of the Green Weenie are Pat Osche, left, and Peg McGinnis, waitresses at the Davy and Hilliard Drug Store.
