Glen E. Flinchbaugh, 77, of Center Township died at noon Friday at his home.

Born on May 30, 1932, in Butler, he was the son of Ernest and Gladys Rankin Flinchbaugh.

He retired after 30 years with Armco, where he was the assistant to the human resources manager. He was active in the Armco Retirees Club, and he had been president of the Midwest Heart Association and a member of the state board.

He had been a past president of the Western Pennsylvania Industrial Conference.

He had been an elder with the Faith United Presbyterian Church in Butler. A Mason, he was a member of Butler Lodge 272. He also was a member of the board of the Butler Salvation Army and the Butler County Council on Alcoholism.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Powell Flinchbaugh, whom he married Oct. 11, 1958.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Gerda Flinchbaugh Cubbison.
