SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Scott Freehling, 29, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Sept. 4 by state police.

Gary Lemmon, 55, of Kittanning waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, careless driving and a lane violation, filed May 21 by state police.

Stephen Riegle, 52, of Butler waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 6 by Saxonburg police.

William Schantz, 41, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related and not using turn signals, filed July 18 by Penn Township police.

Shawn Smith, 26, of Natrona, Allegheny County, waived to court two counts each of theft and trespass in separate cases filed March 11 and May 30 by state police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jeffrey Andrasovsky, 55, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, speeding and violating a hazard regulation, filed July 4.Cindy K. Ealy, 48, of Butler waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and public drunkenness, filed Aug. 1.Melissa Sue Graham, 21, of East Butler was held for court on charges of simple assault, harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed July 20.William George Miller, 24, of Valencia pleaded guilty to a charge of theft, filed Aug. 31. Miller was ordered to pay $1,144.50 in restitution, fines and court costs.Victoria E. Snyder, 20, of Butler waived to court a charge of theft, filed Dec. 13.Bobby Daniel Walker, 61, of Philadelphia waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving with an improper license, reckless driving, careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes and driving with an open container of alcohol, filed Aug. 31.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Kenneth C. Albert, 53, of Portersville waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license-DUI related; a lane violation and not using turn signals, filed July 25.Melinda M. Hunter, 47, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed July 21.Joshua R. McWilliams, 27, of Boyers waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related, and not wearing protective equipment required of motorcycle riders, filed July 21.Karol S. Mitchell, 29, of Cranberry Township waived to court charges of DUI, a lane violation and an open container violation, filed July 27.Daniel B. Thompson, 22, of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed April 23.Michael G. Watt, 33, of Butler waived to court charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, DUI, reckless endangerment, driving with a suspended license-DUI related, a lane violation, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, reckless driving, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance, filed Sept. 6.Scott C. Wilson, 38, of Clark, Mercer County, was held for court on charges of harassment and disorderly conduct, filed June 23.

CRANBERRY TWP — Senior District Judge Joseph O'Donnell recently heard this case:Ashley Ann Solyan, 22, of Baden waived her case to court. She was charged Nov. 14 with possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.
