Penn Hills 31, Butler 11 — The Indians have the talent, even though it hasn't shown in the results on the field this year.Butler has played tough in two losses. The Golden Tornado are still searching for a way to put a game away.

Seneca Valley 30, Baldwin 23 — The Raiders offense showed signs of life last week. Stopping the run might be more important for SV this week.

Mars 23, Plum 20 — The Planets were stung last week by Hopewell. Mars rarely loses two in a row these days, particularly with Austin Miele carrying the football.•
Karns City 27, Brookville 15 — There's a new star in KC: quarterback Dylan Hipple.

Moniteau 23, Punxsutawney 18 — The Warriors' first-week meltdown is quickly becoming a distant memory.•
Hickory 30, Slippery Rock 16 — The Rockets had trouble stopping the Oil City passing game last week and now another potent air attack comes to town.Meanwhile, the SR offense has completed only three passes in two games.Not a good combination.•
Freeport 27, Apollo-Ridge 13 — This is a big September section matchup.The Yellowjackets lost their first big section showdown last week in overtime to Shady Side Academy. They lose another this week.

Burrell 27, Summit Academy 14 — The Knights can play defense, but the offense has been spotty, at best.•
Wilmington 33, Grove City 18 — The Greyhounds have had the Eagles' number over the years.
