Wanda D. Abbott, 95, of Natrona Heights passed away Thursday evening at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights.

She was born March 15, 1914, in New Kensington, the daughter of the late Burt and Bertha Blake Daughenbaugh.

Wanda was an inspector for Alcoa and retired from Allegheny Valley Hospital after 15 years.

She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.

Wanda is survived by her two children, Dona L. Schrott and her husband, John C. Schrott Jr., of Butler and Harry "Sam" Abbott Jr. and his wife, Bernadette, of Sarver; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Abbott, who she married Aug. 3, 1933, and who died Feb. 29, 1964; and by her seven brothers, Arlington, Oscar, Chloe, Burton, Abie, Wade and Pat Daughenbaugh.
