Kenneth P. Tait
Kenneth P. Tait, 61, of Brinker Road, Butler, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at his home.
Born Sept. 10, 1947, in Butler, he was the son of Phyllis E. Beck Tait and the late Robert R. Tait.
Mr. Tait was a veteran of the Air Force. He was employed by Armstrong Utilities in construction maintenance.
Mr. Tait is survived by his wife, Pamela J. Cousins Tait, who he married July 11, 1970; his mother of Butler; two sons, Christopher Tait and his wife, Shelley, of Littleton, Colo., and Jeffery Tait of Butler; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews, two brothers, Keith D. Tait and his wife, Vicki, of Chicago, and Daryl R. Tait and his wife, Shirley, of Karns City; and a sister, Beth Cox and her husband, Ron, of Worthington.
He was preceded in death by his father.
<B>TAIT</B> — Friends of Kenneth P. Tait, who died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Father John Cousins, his brother-in-law of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Colorado Springs, officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for Wildlife Food and Habitat in the Dents Run Pennsylvania area c/o the Pennsylvania Game Commission, 2001 Elmerton Ave., Harrisburg, PA, Attn: Budget Office, In Memory of Ken Tait.
