Lloyd G. Wahl, 87, of Zelienople, formerly of Harmony and Brooklyn, Mich., died Thursday at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born Dec. 4, 1921, in Harmony, he was the son of the late Charles and Clara Youngblood Wahl.

Mr. Wahl attended St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and retired from Tecumseh Products in Tecumseh, Mich.

Mr. Wahl loved animals and going fishing.

He is survived by three brothers, William Wahl of Pittsburgh, Samuel Wahl of New Market, Md., and James Wahl of Evans City; two sisters, Sister Christopher Wahl of Miami, Fla., and Loretta Nicodemus of Portersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Breva "Betty" Schlosser Wahl; and five brothers, Herman, Charles, Roy and Richard Wahl and an infant brother.

<B>WAHL</B> — Friends of Lloyd G. Wahl, who died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A blessing service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment, with military honors, will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies, Bridgeville.Memorial donations may be made to Passavant Benevolent Fund/LAS Foundation, 401 S.
