George Edward Jones, 65, of Slippery Rock died Monday as a result of an ATV accident.

Born Feb. 11, 1944, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of William and Elsie Bollinger Jones.

He was a mechanic.

He was a veteran of the Korean War.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going for walks and working on cars.

Surviving are his sons, Kenneth (Elisa) Jones of Sarver and William (Angel) Jones of Slippery Rock; his mother, Elsie Jones of Smicksburg; his granddaughters, Jaylene, Jazmine and Danielle Jones; two brothers; three sisters; and various nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father and two brothers.
