Patty Sue Geibel

Patty Sue Geibel, 47, of West Diamond Street died early Monday morning at ACMH Hospital.

She was born Nov. 2, 1961, in Butler, a daughter of Cyril "Pete" Geibel and the late Norma Jean Mahoney Geibel.

Patty was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.

She enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a great Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. She also enjoyed baby-sitting, spending time with children and watching television.

Surviving are her father and stepmother, Pete and Darlene Geibel of Butler; two brothers, Ken Geibel and his wife, Cathy Geibel, and Leonard Geibel, all of Butler; and a sister, Mrs. Peggy Bergbigler (Scott) Johns of Butler. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive.

A brother, Edward A. Geibel, preceded her in death.

<B>GEIBEL</B> — Friends of Patty Sue Geibel, who died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler. The Rev. Steven V. Neff, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at the St. Wendelin Cemetery.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
